We are recruiting a number of hourly paid invigilator positions to supervise Cambridge English, IELTS, APTIS and/or Vocational and Professional examinations, in the following geographies ONLY:

Role overview

Suitable candidates should have the following experience, qualifications and competencies:

Requirements:

•Suitable candidates should be legally entitled to work in Spain.

•Suitable candidates should be resident in any of the above locations.

•Suitable candidates should be available for work on weekdays and Saturdays, particularly in peak periods (May to July).

•Education:
•Minimum: Completed Secondary Education. 
•Desirable: Completed First Degree education. 

•Employment experience:
•Minimum: Five years of employment experience.
•Desirable: Ten years of employment experience.

•English Language knowledge:
•Minimum: Certified English language B2 level.
•Desirable: Certified C1 level.

•Local language knowledge:
•Minimum: Competent Spanish speaker. 
•Desirable: competent communication skills in co-official languages.

•Competent computer user, including the internet.

•Ability to deal with customers in a professional manner, to a high level of quality.

•Ability to follow and carry out instructions carefully.

•Experience in working as part of a team.

•Original and copy of the latest English language certificate.

Knowledge of Spanish/other co-official languages will not require of a support certificate; level will be assessed on the interview.

British Council pre-recruitment checks will be required for shortlisted candidates, including references, qualification checks, background checks and the Spanish “Certificado Negativo de Delitos Sexuales”.
