English Extra in Madrid for Adults - Much more than English classes

As series of talks and workshops to help you help yourself. Discover how you can improve your English, stay motivated and become a more independent learner. The programme will also offer sessions for parents:  have a positive impact on your child’s learning by helping them learn outside the classroom. Learning together can be fun!

Three times a term, you and one other student can meet with a teacher for 20 minutes to chat and improve your spoken fluency. If you want even more practice, come along to Conversation Club to discuss and debate with other students about topical issues.

Enjoy the artists and songs that we select each week and then share your thoughts with the rest of the band.

Are you working towards doing the FCE or CAE exams? If so, our extra sessions of reading, use of English, speaking and listening will help you get the best mark possible in each of the different exam papers.

Carry on studying outside of class with books and films from our library. There are also exam practice materials, and WIFI, so that you can find whatever you’re interested in.

As well as showing some of the best British films of all time, there’s the chance to discuss the film with a teacher and the rest of the group.

Log onto the portal wherever you are and do whichever supplementary materials most interest you. This is where you sign up for all the English Extra activities too.

Join our Writing Extra group on the Portal and each week you can send us a composition and get personalized correction and feedback.

Improve your vocabulary and grammar while enjoying reading books for pleasure. Join one of the groups on the Portal and communicate with the teacher and other members of the group.

This weekly workshop will help you improve your communicative effectiveness and give you the opportunity to practice your pronunciation.
