Meet some of our colleagues at the British Council in Spain

The British Council Spain team is like a big family, with over 1,000 members in charge of teaching English, delivering exams and developing and promoting cultural and educational programmes.

Antonio Redondo-Cambridge English Coordinator

Last year over 45,000 candidates took their IELTS, Cambridge and Aptis exams with us. With the help, assessment and work of colleagues like Antonio, they certify their level of English and have access to the work, university or scholarships of their dreams.

Carlos Zurita-Digital Coordinator

Carlos oversees the content and makes sure that our web and our marketing online strategies are working properly. Carlos is part of the Communications Team, which is dedicated to sharing news of our activity with people like you, our students, mass media and peers from other countries.

Carme Puig-Teaching Centre Administrator

The promotion of our teaching centres is key to connecting with people who want to improve or certify their English. This is possible thanks to the work of professionals like Carme, who organise events, advertising campaigns and promotional materials in Barcelona.

Ilze Barobs-Teacher

English teaching is at the heart of our organisation. Teachers like Ilze in Segovia are the visible face of teaching encouraging the learning of over 30,000 students who trusted in us last year.

Irma Alonso-Customer Service Assistant/Library

We never tire of repeating this: you can improve your English or prepare your exams beyond our classes. To help you to look for the materials which best fit your needs, you can count on the assistance of colleagues like Irma in Bilbao.
