At the Valencia centre we offer a teacher training course for people who want a preliminary qualification as a teacher of English as a second language.

The course consists of theoretical and practical input sessions on teaching methodology and daily classroom teaching practice in which trainees put what they have been learning to practical use.

We offer the Trinity College TESOL Certificate as a part-time course between January and June 2019.

Minimum requirements:

  • Minimum age: 18
  • C1 level of English. This will be ascertained through a relevant certificate of language proficiency (Cambridge CAE or CPE, IELTS 7.0+) or at interview.
  • A school leaving certificate- A levels, Bachillerato or equivalent. Candidates with proof of equivalent academic experience will also be considered.

You will be assessed on the basis of your performance in the classroom by our trainers and on four written assignments that you will need to complete during the course.

The course is moderated by an assessor from Trinity College London, who visits the course and interviews each trainee.

Successful trainees are awarded the Trinity College Certificate in Teaching English as a Second Language.
