What better way to celebrate the return of international mobility than with the Catalonia-UK Exchange, a rich and varied programme paving the way towards long-lasting artistic relationships between professionals from the creative industries in the United Kingdom and Catalonia.
For the current edition of the programme XTRAX (one of the UK’s leading specialists in international outdoor arts development) has worked alongside the ICEC (Catalan Institute of Cultural Enterprises), Catalan Arts, Barcelona City Council and the British Council to deliver a number of activities during the "festival of festivals" La Mercè.
From 23 to 26th September some of the UK's most exciting outdoor theatre and dance companies will be performing in the streets and squares of Barcelona during La Mercè's street arts festival MAC (MercèArts de Carrer, MercèStreet Arts).
