Technology constantly brings new dimensions to culture providing access to arts and education projects in innovative and unprecedented ways. Ocupación Poetica is one such project which does just that enabling public spaces to be occupied by poems from writers from a diverse range of cultural backgrounds and countries. The project runs in 25 countries globally giving citizens access to almost 2,500 poems!
Ocupacción Poética is coming to Madrid from 14 December 2015 to 29 January 2016.
EUNIC-Spain members working with Metro de Madrid and Madrid City hall will make poems available for download in the city’s network of libraries, underground libraries and at the following stations: Embajadores, Moncloa, Legazpi, Nuevos Ministerios, Chamartín, Mar de Cristal y Aluche.
Poems from Austria, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Spain and the UK will be available for download via app both in Spanish and in their original language. Find out more about Ocupación Poética in Madrid here:
