Secondary communications course

This course, available at our Madrid centre, is designed for Upper Secondary students who want to maintain their advanced level of English without preparing for an official exam such as the Cambridge Proficiency.

The aim of the course is to continue developing their level of English while further enhancing their communicative competence, including both spoken and written expression in English.

In addition, our students will expand their knowledge of various vocabulary-related aspects such as word formation, phrasal verbs, collocations, metaphors, similes, and idioms.

The course is divided into modules based on topics that are relevant and interesting for young people of their age. Students will watch excerpts from BBC programmes in class to deepen their understanding and knowledge of the topic. Throughout the course, they will also carry out written or spoken projects that reflect real-world tasks to develop their communicative competence.
