Check which books and materials you need for your British Council English course.

When to buy the books

We recommend waiting until the week before your course starts before buying the books. Even if your enrolment is confirmed, the class may still be cancelled before lessons begin (see section 3.2.1 of the terms and conditions).

Check your level

Before buying the books, check that the level you have enrolled in appears on the relevant booklist. If it does not, do not buy any books. If you have any questions, email us at hello@britishcouncil.es.

If the student is enrolled in one of our Young Learner courses, please check the relevant book list to find out whether they need to purchase any books or materials for their course.

Remember: if their enrolled level is not listed, there is no need to purchase a book.
