British Council Spain and “La Red” (the major Spanish Network of Publicly Owned Theatres, Auditoriums, Circuits and Festivals) are pleased to present a new edition of Open Theatres, a webinar series showcasing best practices and case studies from the UK performing arts sector.
Across its first two editions, Open Theatres has brought together leading UK theatre professionals from organisations such as the Unicorn Theatre, The Theatre Green Book, Theatre Royal Plymouth, the British Council, National Youth Arts Wales or the Royal Shakespeare Company. Together, they discussed their approach to access & inclusion, sustainability, community engagement, governance, youth participation and impact measurement.
This third edition of Open Theatres focuses on three themes that are increasingly relevant to the performing arts sector: networks, festivals and artivism. As cultural organisations seek new ways to collaborate, reach audiences and respond to contemporary social challenges, these areas offer valuable models for partnership, innovation, and social engagement, helping to strengthen the resilience, visibility and impact of the arts.
The sessions will be held in English with simultaneous translation into Spanish and will be recorded. Access will be free with required registration.
