Thanks to its agreement with Versión Digital (exclusive distributor for Spain of the Royal Opera House’s cinema screenings from its London stage) and Cinesa Cinemas, the British Council is organising a draw of free double tickets to see one of the ROH’s most acclaimed ballet productions live from the stage of the Royal Opera House on Thursday 19th May at 20.15h.
This classic fairy tale represents the battle between good and evil and the determination of love to win. The magic of lakes, forests and palaces is brought to life with the dazzling sets created by John Macfarlane and Tchaikovsky’s sublime music. The Royal Ballet's magnificent production of “Swan Lake” returns to the stage at the Royal Opera House after being forced to cancel in 2020 when theatres closed due to the pandemic. The late choreographer Liam Scarlett's immense love of classicism and innate musicality shines through throughout the production of this classic from the Royal Ballet's repertoire.
The invitations will be available for cinemas in Barcelona, Bilbao, Madrid, Marbella and Santander. The deadline to enter the draw is 11th May at 11:59 p.m. CET. We'll get in touch with the lucky winners the following day.
