Five Films for Freedom is back! The biggest online film festival in support of LGBTQIA+ rights. From 19 to 30 March, coinciding with the BFI Flare: London LGBTQIA+ Film Festival, discover the new selection of five LGBTQIA+ themed short films that champion the rights of the community and celebrate love as a human right.

Join the celebrations with two exclusive screenings:

On 25 March at 19:00 h you've got a date at the Cine Estudio del Círculo de Bellas Artes de Madrid. Casa Europa. Apart from the five new shorts, we will also screen The First Kiss, presented by its director, Miguel Lafuente. The First Kiss was part of last year's selection. For more information, visit the Cine Estudio website and get your tickets during the following days. The films will be screened in their original version with Spanish subtitles.

If you're in Palma de Mallorca, on 27 March at 18:30 h come to Centre Flassaders to enjoy the shorts in partnership with Mostra OUT! Entry will be free with previous registration. The films will be screened in their original version with Spanish subtitles. You can book your seat at the following link

And, if you're not close by, you can join the live online screening on our YouTube channel on 19-30 March. Come celebrate these stories with us!

Five Films for Freedom is a partnership with the British Film Institute (BFI) and, specifically, BFI Flare: London LGBTIQ+ Film Festival. The five films featured in the Five Films for Freedom programme have been selected by the British Council from the main BFI Flare programme.
