A new season of the BAFTA Shorts is here, our International Touring Programme in association with the British Academy of Film and Television Awards (BAFTA).
This year's shorts programme is a selection of live action and animated short films which were all nominated for the 2026 BAFTA awards, along with the winners in each category. Together the collection offers a brilliant snapshot of the most talented filmmakers currently working in the UK. With representation from our various nations and regions, and exploring a range of perspectives and identities, the films span intimate and personal essays through to broad and ambitious grand-scale entertainment.
We kick off this season with an ambitious programme thanks to our partnership with the Filmoteca de Castilla y León. From 14 September to 14 November, you can enjoy the BAFTA Shorts 2026 in VOSE in the following cities:
