Professional development for researchers
Researcher Connect is a training opportunity for researchers which promotes the development of excellent communication skills for international, multicultural academic contexts. The aim is to enhance the productivity of individual researchers and, in turn, provide their universities and research institutions with a competitive advantage in the fast moving international research environment.
We are inviting 60 early career researchers from Spain and Portugal who:
1. Can effectively communicate in English (B2 level or above)
2. Is a practising researcher, at the beginning of your researcher career and can commit to the training schedule (this is a two-week training programme, three hours Monday-Thursday, each week)
3. Can confirm that your research organisation/university is permitting your attendance (of which an attendance certificate will be awarded at the end of the training)
4. Can commit to one or two deliverables with concrete outcomes as a result of this training, e.g. in order to aid the publication of research, sharing sessions to wider researchers, increasing research connections and collaborations.
Dates and time:
The course consists of two weeks training (3 hrs per day for two weeks Monday to Thursday at 13.30-16.30 pm, UK time). You will be invited to one of the two workshops below:
Workshop 1: 13 November to 16 November and 20 November to 24 November
Workshop 2: 22 January to 25 January and 29 January to 1 February
