Selector PRO returns in 2021, this time online.
The Independent Music Association of the United Kingdom (AIM) and the British Council, together with their partners Biche (Colombia), Fundación Nuevas Badas (Venezuela) and Niceto Club (Argentina), will be in charge of the first virtual edition of The Selector PRO , the program that brings together independent music professionals from the UK and around the world to bring knowledge, exchange stories, and discuss the hottest topics in the contemporary music industry.
Selector PRO connects independent music sector professionals from around the world with their counterparts in the UK who will deliver training, share their stories, and discuss the biggest topics affecting the contemporary music industry.
Panel topics for this year’s event include livestreaming, maximising income from music online, creative strategies and digital marketing hacks, climate change, international collaboration between the UK and Latin America, and how music can lead to social change.
The following speakers from the UK and each of the three Latin America countries are already confirmed, representing companies including: AIM, Árbol Naranja / Discos de la Piña, AWAL, Beggars Group, Believe LATAM, Biche, CTRL Music, Good Energy PR / Black Music Coalition, IE Music, Julie’s Bicycle, Media Factory, Ninja Tune and Orion Music Hub.
