The 4th edition of Sustainable Challenge will be taking place at the Disseny Hub Barcelona on 10th, 11th and 12th November. This annual programme was created by MODA-FAD and since its second edition is organised jointly with Design Manchester festival. It is supported by the Barcelona City Council and Barcelona’s Disseny Hub, with funds from the British Council’s International Collaboration Grant programme.
On this occasion, 30 students of a range of disciplines related to fashion from British and Spanish schools (15 from the United Kingdom and 15 from Spain) were selected to participate in this 3-day creative marathon focused on the theme "Fashion for Body Diversity”.
On the last day of the marathon the 6 mixed teams of Spanish and British students will show their creations in a fashion show open to the public (Saturday 12th from 18:30 to 20:30: free admission, registration required.) Their challenge will have been to create new designs based on the concept of body diversity after being advised by experts and working together in different group dynamics over three intense days.
