#WeAreEquals, British Council's platform for gender equality and diversity in music, celebrates a special edition with an online music academy and the broadcast of a unique DJ night in collaboration with United We Stream association and with the support of the Embassy of the United Kingdom in Spain.
The 2021 music academy will bring together 20 emerging electronic music talents from Spain, Greece, Poland and Ireland, led by Brighter Sound with mentors such as Carly Wilford (Dj, producer and selector), Jayne Stynes (responsible for the Music Managers Forum UK) and LNA (producer and composer).
On Sunday, July 4, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., from Madrid, the United We Stream broadcast will serve as a speaker for diversity in the framework of the LGBTI + Pride celebrations. The line-up will feature sets by Cori Matius (WeAreEquals Music Academy 2019), Juan Koan, Yahaira and Víctor Santana.
The broadcasts in HD will be carried out simultaneously from Facebook, Youtube and Twitch (United We Stream official channels) and from the profiles of the collaborating media.
