After the success of #WeAreEquals Madrid and #WeAreEquals Bilbao, we are proud to launch #WeAreEquals Barcelona in collaboration with MUTEK ES and Bridge_48 (February 21-22)! The #WeAreEquals Music Academy provides two days of training given by Brighter Sound led by British and Spanish professionals along with special guest artists from the UK to share their personal experience. Jayne Stynes, coordinator of the UKs Music Managers Forum, mentors and artists CHAINES and Vicky Clarke (in addition to their exclusive performance) and Ivone Lesan (Women in the Music Industry - Primavera Sound) and Edu Pérez (DjMag ) will make up the team for the two days!

I’m versatile as a dj and producer
I love to be passionate about my work, and being part of music projects that make me move, feel and fight.
I consider myself a quite versatile musician, but the most important for me is to reach that union between audience and artist, so we can travel somewhere together.
I´m a sonic artist studying and researching the boundaries of sound and technology.
Passionate and creative artist in constant fluctuation between the woman and the child inside
AMAS: Ivana Ray Singh (AKA Lucy Tcherno) & Maria Gatasanta (AKA Maria Barros)
Like the traditional Japanese pearl divers, are brave women that submerge themselves into the darkest depths of consciousness to find Pearls of Wisdom, a metaphor for the lessons that can be gleaned from heart-wrenching experiences. We share these Pearls in our lyrics and performances, in the hopes that they may serve others.
Personal experimentation as a learning method. Millimetric study of rhythm and its manipulation possibilities to influence moods.
LAIA (NORTH STATE)
I always tell my truth through art. I'm In that moment looking inside exploring with my colours and textures and shapes, without fear
Happy human doing what he loves
BRUHMA / MXVZS
At the moment I create music without thinking too much about genres, I want to create a complete concept that tells the importance of the sun for the earth, its process and the human as a miracle as well as a destroyer of paradise.
I lead disruptive projects at the intersection of art, science and technology with the aims of: 1 finding novel formats of generating artistic and scientific knowledge; 2 reflecting about contemporary and futuristic issues ;3 creating powerful experiences to push the boundries of human perception.
I love music (and silence sometimes) more than people.
I am sensitive and always expecting challenge
