Teaching for Success – Teacher Conference
Madrid, 29 September, 09.30 to 14.30
We’re back with a full programme of practical teacher training sessions to help and inspire you throughout the academic year. As always, our programme will offer a variety of sessions to suit your needs, whether you teach at a nursery, primary or secondary school, or at an academy or university.
This year we have included English as a Medium of Instruction (EMI) and English for Academic Purposes (EAP) talks in our programme.
|Steve Muir (British Council trainer specialising in EMI)||Lessons learnt from English Medium Instruction (EMI)|
|Tom Morton (Universidad Internacional de la Rioja)||University teachers' viewpoints on EMI|
|John Marshall (British Council trainer specialising in EAP)||Developing Academic Reading Skills: help students become more dominant and effective L2 readers and writers.|
Our conference in Madrid will also form part of the Universidad de Otoño’s training programme (Colegio de Doctores y Licenciados en Filosofía y Letras y en Ciencias de la Comunidad de Madrid).
If you can't attend the event in person, make sure to join our opening plenary session on Facebook Live at 10.15 on 29 September 2018.
