Level A1
Students will be able to:
- understand and use very frequently-used everyday expressions as well as simple phrases to meet immediate needs
- introduce him/herself and others and can ask and answer questions about personal details such as where he or she lives, things he or she has and people he or she knows
- interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to cooperate.
Level A2
Students will be able to:
- understand sentences and frequently-used expressions related to the areas of experience most immediately relevant to him or her (e.g. very basic personal and family information, shopping, places of interest, employment, etc.).
- communicate in simple, everyday tasks requiring no more than a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters
- describe in simple terms aspects of his/her past, environment and matters related to his or her immediate needs.
