About

British Council Alcalá is a professional language school where students improve their level of English language proficiency and develop skills such as their speaking or listening. We’ve also got alternatives for those who want to prepare for their IELTS, Cambridge and Aptis exams to take their tests with the best guarantee of success.

In addition, we are committed to offer a high standard of English teaching in the university: for that reason students and former students from Universidad de Alcalá (UAH) and Centro Universitario Cardenal Cisneros (CUCC) can benefit from special prices as well as receiving credits (ECTS) towards their degrees. Employees from these centres can also take advantage of this discount.

Young Learners too: We now offer courses for young learners (3-17 year olds) during the week and on Saturday mornings in Centro Universitario Cardenal Cisneros, Avenida Jesuitas 34, Alcalá de Henares.

English Extra - Much more than English classes

At the British Council Alcalá de Henares we go further: we offer a wide range of free initiatives to keep on learning outside your classes, such as speaking workshops during the course and in the January and February break.

We use these periods to awake in our students their interest beyond the English language through cultural talks, cinema club, CV writing and interview skills workshops and speaking and listening classes.

The ultimate objective of our programme and courses is to help students like you to develop your learning as much as you want. In this process you can use the learning materials available in our library and on our online student portal
