About

Come and see our centre

Located in a historical building in the capital, our campus, the headquarters of the British Council in Spain, is a cultural landmark of Madrid. From our main centre we promote the best of British arts, education and science, through events at which our students are the guests of honour.

OUR FACILITIES

Our Madrid campus has top-class facilities. In our light and airy classrooms with interactive whiteboards and the latest technology, your child will study in a dynamic cultural environment with classes tailored to their age group.

English Extra - Much more than English classes

We want to motivate your child, and we believe that language learning is most effective when our students have contact with English in their free time.

That's why in our centre we also offer a range of free extra activities such as storytelling workshops in English, Reading and Writing CirclesDrama Club or Culture Week, during which we host a varied programme of artistic and musical activities. To find out about our full programme of English Extra activities for children and teenagers, see the webpage here (in Spanish).

YOUNG LEARNERS RESOURCE CENTRE

Our Young Learners Resource Centre, in the Young Learners building, has a wide range of materials arranged by level and age, so that your child can consolidate their English outside class.

Our expert librarians can recommend you the most suitable materials for your child. You can find more details about our Young Learners Resource Centre here.
