We offer a wide range of levels and timetables. Students who are sixteen years old or over can pursue their English language learning goals, such as preparing for Cambridge or IELTS exams.

English Extra - Much more than English classes

If there is one thing that sets the Madrid Adults centre apart, it is the wide range of study materials and free extra activities available to our students.

You can access the resources to supplement your learning outside of class by visiting our library and the online student portal, where you can communicate with your teacher, download self-study guides and browse links to other websites to help improve your level.

You can also practice your speaking skills with Speaking Extra, 20-minute, face-to-face sessions with a teacher and one other student of the same level. If you’re preparing your Cambridge (First, Advanced) exams, our Exam Practice workshops will give you the opportunity to test your grammar and listening skills under exam conditions.

Need to boost your command of the English language for work? Sign up for our Life Skills sessions and find out, for example, how to communicate effectively in a meeting, how to put together a successful presentation, or how to write a CV.

In Madrid Adults you’ll also have the chance to improve your fluency while taking part in our Conversation Club, where you can overcome your fear of speaking in public by practising with other students of the same level.

Our Film Club is perfect for cinema lovers, who can meet to watch and discuss selected British films. You can also attend our Music Club and learn more about British music.

Our monthly Book Club offers a space for advanced level English speakers to discuss contemporary British novels – and is a good excuse to visit our centre if you haven’t already done so.
