Bring STEM to life with the British Council and Formula 1!

Learning Sectors is a British Council programme, supported by Formula 1, connecting schools in Spain with schools in the UK. Building on a successful first year that reached over 150,000 young people worldwide, the programme brings students together to work on real-world challenges. Inspired by the fast-paced world of Formula 1, students develop skills in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), communication and collaboration, building confidence and teamwork.

Learners are exposed to the wide range of jobs in STEM and find out how STEM roles make a difference to our lives. They then identify an issue in their community and work with the British school to come up with a solution, using STEM skills to tackle a real-world challenge and make a positive change.

  • Engage your learners through using STEM and communication skills for practical challenges
  • Broaden their horizons through working with a school in another country
  • Inspire students with real examples of STEM in action from Formula 1
