Learning Sectors is a guided international school partnership programme. Schools work together over a period of 6 months.

Programme structure

The programme is delivered in clearly defined stages:

  1. School selection and matching
Participating schools are selected and matched with a partner school in the UK, based on age group and project focus.
  2. Teacher onboarding (by Sept 2026)
Teachers take part in 4 webinars to understand the programme, resources and expectations.
  3. Collaboration phase (October 2026 to March 2027)
Students and teachers work with their partner school on a shared STEM and communication-based project.
  4. Project development (November 2026 to March 2027)
Students explore real-world challenges, develop ideas and collaborate to produce a final outcome.
  5. Completion, awards and celebration (March 2027 to Sept 2028)
Schools share their work and reflect on the skills developed during the project. Prizes are awarded to the winner and the runners-up

What schools are expected to do

Participation is not for the school as a whole but for one or more groups, as the school decides. Schools taking part in the programme are expected to:

  • Engage in regular communication with their partner school
  • Deliver project activities in the classroom
  • Support students in collaborative work
  • Participate in key webinars and programme milestones

Schools can choose to work in their own language in classroom, but as materials and webinars are provided in English and they will need to engage with a UK school, the teachers that participate should have a minimum of a B2 level of English (C1 for communication programmes). The materials are excellent for delivery in English, should the level of the children allow.

Applying schools must have commitment from at least two teachers (Lead and substitute) and the School Head.
