Here comes The Selector Live with the best British concerts in Spain

With nearly 200 hours of content, the British Council’s radio program, The Selector, directed by Nicolas Jackson in collaboration with Radio3 extra, has introduced the best of the British emerging music scene to Spain over the past 5 years .  Florence and the Machine, Adele or Bonobo was bought to you first by The Selector, Europe's leading musical discovery program.

With an eclectic selection ranging from grime to pop-folk or RNB and electronics, the Selector also has a monthly playlist and newsletter.

A-la-carte concerts and public voting

The Selector Live has also decided to offer a unique way of discovering new bands to its listeners: "concerts à la carte". In collaboration with the Cooncert platform, a pioneer in organizing concerts on demand in Spain, the British Council would like to invite the public to vote for their favourite artists and  to bring them on tour to their city. We are launching this programme with two heavy weights of the music industry:  NAO and JP Cooper, the most successful up and coming bands of the British circuit with music that will reach out to a wide audience.
