Aptis ESOL: The Ideal Exam for Public Jobs and University
Aptis ESOL is officially recognised as an English language proficiency qualification by multiple public bodies in Spain, including 16 Autonomous Communities and the CRUE. It is regulated by the Office of Qualifications and Examination Regulation (Ofqual), which regulates qualifications, examinations, and assessments in England.
You should always confirm Aptis ESOL validity with the institution where you need to present your accreditation.
Aptis ESOL Variants:
Aptis ESOL is available in three variants:
- Aptis ESOL General: Assesses levels A1 to B2 on the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR). Candidates showing a level higher than B2 are awarded a C1 in the CEFR.
- Aptis ESOL for Teachers: Similar to the General variant but tailored for educators. It assesses levels A1 to B2 and focuses on teaching-related contexts. Candidates showing a level higher than B2 are awarded a C1 in the CEFR.
- Aptis ESOL Advanced: Tests language proficiency from B1 to C2 on the CEFR.
